so much like me

Oh yeah, I am vaguely dressed up, but not really matching today. See evidence below:

You see the accessories and you think, 'well those all go together.' But then you see the outfit...

and you say, 'Hmm...definitely could be less spastic.'

That's how I feel about today, anyway. Got up kind of late, rushed around, didn't get to putting on makeup. Not to mention, it's raining ALL DAY for the next NINE DAYS and that makes me SAD. Where did the snow go? On top of the rain, they are pile driving the SHCNOZBERRIES out of the pylons outside, and have been since I got here this morning. And will be until the beginning of February. Which really unsettles me. The whole building is methodically vibrating, and let me tell you, it is not doing anything for my inner calm. The low down is basically as follows:

The highway that runs outside of the building is kind of old, moss-covered and decrepit. Ok, ok, so it needs to be replace, I get it. Here's the thing, though...they're planning on tunneling underneath it. To help the congestion that occurs when people use the highway to get from point A to point B (or vice verse) for the workday. But if they started tunneling without building a new ramp, the off-ramp that exists now would crumble and everyone would die. And no, that's not an exaggeration. So they have to 1. build a new off ramp so that they can 2. demolish the old off-ramp so that they can 3. tunnel underneath the existing structure and 4. use that instead of the existing highway. WHAT?
