eureka!

Put yer balls to the wall, y'all -- here is the amazingness that is my Dad's brussel sprouts recipe. This is a one skillet recipe, and seriously, I could pop these babies as snacks. Then again, you might not share my affinity for brussel sprouts.

You will need:
one pound fresh brussel sprouts, quartered
3-4 cloves of garlic, diced (more or less is fine, depending on how much you like garlic)
one baby lemon, cut into chunks
1/4 cup of butter/margarine
a skillet (any skillet will do!)

What you do:
-put about half the butter in the skillet and melt over medium-ish heat
-once the butter is melted, put the garlic in and turn the heat up a little bit. let the garlic sweat it out for a little bit.

-add brussel sprouts, put the rest of the butter on top, and mix everything around until it melts
-once the butter is melted, add the lemon, and mix everything thoroughly
-sautee brussel sprouts until easily pierced with a fork (but not mushy.)

serve and enjoy!

Ombly nombly, bears and biscuits! The most delicious brussel sprouts. Sometimes, simple is the best way to be.
