snacktime!

alternately: foods I should be a spokesperson for

Utz Potato Chips
-Specifically, the Honey BBQ brand. They are the best chips I have ever tasted. So much, in fact, that we made it a priority to visit the factory when we were on our road trip. And then bought, like, 20 mini bags at the factory outlet store because we really like Utz chips and we were going to be driving out of their shipping radius. WE ARE THOSE PEOPLE. If you can find them, try them. And then try them mixed with Mac 'n Cheese. Holy deliciousness. Dot com.

Sunbelt Granola Bars
-Another sometimes hard to find snack. Case and point: The closest store that carries them to where we live in Seattle is 15 miles away. That isn't that far, unless you don't drive places. Which we try not to, unless it's absolutely necessary. And we think that going to Target <10 miles away isn't always necessary, so...yeah. This is another snack we stocked up for the trip. And then we had no air conditioning, so they all melted. And still tasted super. Especially the Oats & Honey. Noms.

Crystal Light
We go through this stuff like it is going out of style. We spent extra money on it the last time we went grocery shopping, because it was on sale. We bought four large tubs. That will last us maaaaaybe a month. Maybe.

That's probably about it. Actually, no it isn't. But the other things aren't specific brands, just generic foods. Like brussel sprouts, green beans, stuffing...etc...etc...

I'm so ready for it to be tomorrow night! I'm excited about traveling =)

  1. I would like to add the following:

    * Garden Vegetable Ritz Crackers - so good, you don't need to eat them with anything. but if you combine them with ground meat (beef, chicken or pork), cheese and pasta-- IT's AMAZING.

    * Sunbelt Granola Cereal - holy crap, I could eat the entire box in one sitting. (and my sister does. :) love you, Melissa)

    * Yogurt covered raisins or pretzels - nom nom nom
