So...I have this weird hunger feeling in the pit of my stomach after lunch sometimes. Like eating lunch has made me hungrier. This is especially true if I'm not hungry in the morning. And for the record: I always try to eat something, even if it's just a granola bar, in the morning. Even when my coffee has made me not really hungry. Or I'm just not hungry in general.
I usually have my coffee in the morning and breakfast. Breakfast can range anywhere from a granola bar to bagel thin with cream cheese to a beefed up packet of oatmeal (more recently.) Yesterday morning I was hungry enough for my entire bowl of oats. And then I had my PB&J for lunch with some cookies. And then a granola bar held me over until dinner.
This morning however, I was unable to make it through only about half of my oats. I ate my lunch of salmon, brussel sprout and pasta leftovers (which I guess are technically not leftovers, since I pack them before we eat dinner, in an attempt to have something left over for lunch and to make us eat less at dinner,) and I was fine. And then I started feeling really hungry about an hour later. I chugged some water, like I always do after lunch, and had a granola bar. And now I feel HUNGRIER.
Why? What can I use to make me feel more full? And why does eating make me feel hungrier?
