i walk with him til morning (ten on tuesday)

Link up over there! Yeah, there, at Chelsea's blog!

1. When someone asks you for a book recommendation, what is your go-to book?
Hm...this one is hard for me, because I read mostly scifi/fantasy, so... a lot of people aren't into that. I guess I'd probably say something like Lord of the Flies or Slaughterhouse Five. I really liked Slaughterhouse Five.

2.  Do you buy your books, or are you a library patron?I would love to be a responsible library patron...but I'm not. I usually am for a month or so after I get my library card. Then I become bad at returning things, so I stop going. Usually if I want to read a book enough, I'll buy it. For my Kindle =)

3.  E-readers, yay or nay?
I would love to be one of those hardcore people who is all 'DOWN WITH EREADERS, I ONLY READ REAL BOOKS' but I'm just not. I got my Kindle two Christmases ago and I haven't looked back. I love the way a book feels and smells, but you can't beat the convenience of a Kindle. Or how awesome I feel holding a gadget that not everyone has. Teehee.

4.  What was your favorite book as a child?
This would require me to remember what books were read to me -- it was a lot. But I remember liking Goodnight, Moon. I should ask my Mom.

5.  If you could be any character in a book, who would you be?
I would be any of the leading female dragon-riding characters in Anne McCaffrey's Pern series. Cause they're all kick-ass and AWESOME. Although, I do really like Menolly, Robinton and (more recently,) Kindan's stories.

6.  What book would you love to see turned into a movie?
See above answer. Even if they were horrible movies I'd probably watch them. Pern is one of those things I couldn't ever get enough of.

7.  What is your all-time favorite book?
Summon the Keeper and/or American Gods. Either is acceptable.

8.  How many books do you read at once?
Usually only one. I don't really like to cross stories in my brain, it doesn't handle it very well. But I will sometimes stop reading in the middle of one story, read a completely different one all the way through, then go back to the one I was reading first.

9.  What is your favorite book genre?
Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Probably more Fantasty than Sci-Fi.

10.  Which Harry Potter book is the best?  Or haven’t you read them at all?
Uhmmm....I think I stopped at 5? I don't remember them very well, I read them when I was in high school.  But I like the Goblet of Fire movie the best...doesn't that count? (You may now call me a blasphemer, if you prefer.)
